Energy saving lamps used to be an ugly and much larger than normal bulbs, this isn't the case anymore.

Energy saving lamps can save you money for a small investment, they run cooler, they look the same and last longer.

this is a list of equivalent wattages compared to normal light bulbs


  • 18W energy lamp = 100W normal light bulb

  • 15W energy lamp = 75W normal light bulb

  • 11W energy lamp = 60W normal light bulb

  • 9W energy lamp = 40W+ normal light bulb

  • 7W energy lamp = 40W normal light bulb

  • 5W energy lamp = 25W normal light bulb
